The basic price of the Swift Trawler 41 is set at 362?500 euros HT in white hull version with the Volvo D4 with 2 x 260 hp. This very interesting price, with three cabins, which is unique in this size, with a very large fridge, requires to choose from the list of options to sail comfortably and in compliance with the regulations. Note that the woodwork delivered as standard in Alpi teak is of very good quality.
The necessary options to navigate the long course
The list of options is quite extensive. There are aesthetic choices such as pearl grey or steel blue hull colour or teak on deck, comfort choices such as Alpi Oak Dosse finishes and Bolt Greige, leather or nubuck upholstery. And all the technical options among which we can mention the presence of the system developed by the brand "shipcontrol" included in the electronic pack which allows several people on board to have a view and an action on the onboard controls (except the autopilot) from a tablet or a smartphone. With a 7 kW generator, an electrical system for launching the tender, and various interior and exterior finishing packs, our very complete test boat is priced at 495?355 euros ex VAT.
What about the competition?
Since Bénéteau positioned itself in this segment in 2004, the multi-purpose Trawler segment with a hull planing hull is experiencing a revival in popularity with the environmental constraints we are currently facing. As a result, pioneers of the speciality such as Grand Banks, to name but one, have had to flee to larger sizes of at least 60 feet, which are more in line with displacement hulls that tend to disappear below 14 meters. In this small circle, Rhéa Marine, the Rhéa Marine shipyard, occupies a more classic and traditional position, slightly more expensive with its Trawler 43 semi-displacement hull. The Polish shipyard Northman has just presented the 1200 which is similar to the Sedan version, but a fly version will be presented very soon. The Italian shipyard Cranchi plays in the top of the range with its T43, much better finished, its 2 x 500 hp IPS engine raises its price in a higher category. Finally, the closest competitor is in the group itself with the Delphia 1?200 fly. Less vivacious with 2 x 220 hp and simpler, it has only two cabins and a smaller saloon, but it is also 20% cheaper, that can count.
