It is also possible to position oneself for fast cruising with a reduced crew, with a furling boom, electric winches and a self-tacking jib.
Different levels of finish and comfort are offered with adapted packages that leave nothing to envy the most beautiful yachts. The look, with its blue-grey hull colour, black anodised fittings and solid wood deck, is important to enhance the lines of a pure, elegant cruiser-racer.
To this little exercise, this first model responds perfectly for a total invoice amounting to 894?087 euros HT, which remains very competitive in this universe.
What about concurrence??
So many prestigious names share this market étroit?!
Above 50 feet and if you want as much performance as refinement, two control names share the cake. Scandinavia and Italy. The first with Nautor Swan, leader of the segment for more than 50 years and X-Yachts its Danish cadet, and the second with Del pardo, and Solaris. If all its brands have existed since the 1970s, it is really from the years 90-2000 that these 50-60 foot cruising races became more accessible without crew, thanks to the evolution of technology.
So in this very phase of evolution the Swan 54 without an attached garage is marking time. X-Yacht whose XP 55 date a little is waiting for the new Pur X 56 which will be presented in Düsseldorf in January 2021. On the Italian side, at Grand Soleil, you have to go and get the 58' of the performance range to be at a similar level and at Solaris, le 55 has still been the segment's benchmark for the past two years.
If all these boats are taken at the same level of equipment, the rate will be at least 20% higher than the First yacht 53. This does not only reflect the nominal prestige, as the quality of finish is also superior. But after all, doesn't the tricolour manufacturer prove its adaptability, which with this new First proves the validity of its position as world leader.
