Wimbi Boats is taking a major technological step forward with the launch of a range known as "Exclusive". More than new models, it is rather a "high technology" package that can be adapted to all models from 9 m, i.e. the Wimbi 9, 10 and 11, already available in several choices of finishes, colors and engines.

If this range is characterized by particular and luxurious finishes with the introduction of new materials, it includes above all numerous technological equipment dedicated to leisure and navigation.

A semi-autonomous boat

The Wimbi Exclusive is a unit of a little more than 10 m embarked nearly 500 kilos of high technology "invisible". It required nearly a year of development with many manufacturers and assembly.

Among the innovations integrated into the boat, we discover the remote control. Thanks to an autonomous on-board computer, it will be possible for the pilot to remotely control his boat from his watch, comfortably installed in the saloon with his guests or his family, while benefiting from a clear view. This autopilot innovation is a first on a RIB of this size.

A digital experience

To offer an "Exclusive" user experience, the manufacturer did not stop there. This Wimbi is equipped with probes, sensors, radars, beacons, cameras, antennas, weather station, solar panels or even onboard home automation tools. All commands are now done from a touch screen, from which you can control the whole boat, from lights to music, from fluid tanks to bilge pumps, including energy control and electric cylinders.

Manage your boat from the dock or the beach

The current innovations are the first step towards totally new operations and experiences. In the future, thanks to innovations that will be launched in January 2021, the Wimbi Exclusive will be able to leave its mooring autonomously thanks to an automatic anchor deployment/raising system and come to the dock to pick up its passengers, controlled from a touch screen.

It will also be equipped with an automatic docking system, with the pilot letting the boat do its maneuvering on its own.

Top of the line leisure facilities

In addition to the technological aspect, the Wimbi Exclusive, offers many leisure equipment, including an impressive sound and light system - 15 integrated speakers of the latest generation and 30 cRGB lights (colors, true white and yellow) with predefined scenarios - controlled from a DJ table, or simply from his smartphone.

A fruitful collaboration

This new RIB is the result of a collaboration between several actors of the industry, not only nautical. The Wimbi Boats teams have teamed up with engineers, start-ups and Garmin, a specialist in GPS navigation systems for the nautical, aeronautical and military sectors.

45 knots in maximum speed

Even if the speed is not the first program sought by Wimbi Boats on this series privileging the nautical domotics, the boat propelled by two outboard engines deploying 600 CV will nevertheless be able to reach a speed of 45 knots. A great performance for a boat of almost 3,000 kg.

"At the maximum price of"

Contrary to the market offer where the boats are sold at a rate "from", the Wimbi Exclusive will be offered "at a maximum price of".

Thus, the boat will be sold with its full package of options and equipment. In addition to the colors, upholstery, etc., the yachtsman will only have to choose if he wants to remove options from his boat. Orders placed before the introduction of certain new features will not be invoiced if the future owner has chosen the "maximum" version.

This Wimbi Exclusive will be sold at a price of 300euros000 euros, targeting a demanding clientele, passionate about technology.

It is however reminded that on an ergonomic level, the same boat in a standardized luxury version is sold at a price of 149,000 euros and 125,000 euros in an economy version.
