The Stir Ven 22 is the alliance of beautiful yachting and new technologies! The series has about 50 units, half of which were built by the shipyard. The others were built by amateur builders from the offer sold by the Grand Largue shipyard (www.bateau-en-kit.com). This flotilla sails on all the coasts of France and abroad.

The exceptional charms of the Stir Ven 22 are those of its clapboard hull, its different varnished wood species and the carefully selected bronze fittings. The Stir Ven 22 retains the charm and aesthetics of a classic pleasure boat with the pleasure of a large and deep cockpit. Its construction in epoxy marine plywood offers a real asset for both routine maintenance and longevity. It also allows amateur construction, based on the digital cutting of the plywood, which makes the project of the novice builder more reliable.

Naval architect François Vivier has designed a fast and pleasantly steerable promenade boat, which has all the performance of a light keelboat with its 180 kg profiled cast iron lifting keel. Integral centerboarder, its loading on trailer is very easy.

What makes this classic, high-performance day-boat so special is its ease of use (hand-masted, simple rigging) and the pleasure of changing sailing locations easily. It therefore has almost all the advantages of a sailboat-rower while being more seaworthy and a good sailboat. This sailboat has been designed to be propelled by sculling or rowing or by a small outboard motor.

And for water sports, there are two berths in the small cabin, two more on the cockpit floor under a hooped tent that gives even standing height! It is therefore possible to live a few days on board in complete autonomy by having access to many anchorages forbidden to cruise boats.
