Aventura 37, a smart cruising catamaran with an aggressive price tag

Announced a year ago, the Aventura 37 arrives on the market in a particularly well-kept version. This cruising catamaran, announced at a teaser price, has the means to take a lion's share of the market. To be continued

Surprise on the Cannes boat show, we discovered the Aventura 37. Not a surprise for the appearance of this new model which was already announced for a long time, but a big surprise for the quality of the model presented to the visitors of the show.

The Aventura Catamaran shipyard has no reason to be ashamed of the quality of its service compared to the other major competing brands. From now on, the Aventura Catamarans count and are likely to make a good share of the multihull market.

The Aventura 37 is distinguished by the asymmetry of its deck. On the port side, the helm station and the access to the foredeck with its large sundeck. And on starboard, a gangway which is partially occupied by a sunbathing area at the back, directly connected to the cockpit.

It's smart, because all these living and maneuvering spaces don't get in the way. In addition, an access to the cockpit in front of the helmsman frees up a maneuvering space that is always accessible. The large sunbathing area on the deckhouse is also noteworthy. The deckhouse is surrounded by backrests for comfort and safety.

The interior layout is also clever. We particularly appreciated the starboard hull proposed for an owner. If the sleeping area is classically at the back and the bathroom at the front, the shipyard had the good idea to place a real dressing room in the central portion. This is clever and offers accessible and aesthetic storage for the occupants.

But more than the fittings or the organization of the boat, it is especially on the quality of construction and finishing that the shipyard has really taken a step forward. The materials used, the quality of the gelcoat and the on-board equipment (including the electrical installation in digital switching Empire Bus which can be controlled entirely from the Garmin plotter).

All these details show the shipyard's desire to offer up-to-date and well-made yachts. Especially with a base price that remains ultra-competitive for this size of catamaran (starting at 225,000 euros before tax). A good start for this model which targets the core market of cruising catamarans.
