Catsmart, the Bali Catamarans concept in reduced mode

Bali Catamarans presents its new catamaran model, the Catsmart. It is a "small" 38-foot catamaran (11.78 m long) that retains all the codes of the range but introduces a change in the helm station. Launch planned for early 2023.

Few offers on the market

Catamarans under 40 feet are rare in a market where sizes are constantly increasing. Aventura Catamarans offers a 34 and a 37 footer in its catalog, Excess Catamarans two models under 40 feet as well, but the positioning is not the same. It is therefore good news to see the arrival of a new 38-foot sailing catamaran produced by Bali Catamarans and designed by Xavier Faÿ with the objective of offering a more attractive price range.

All the features of the range

The Bali Catsmart is the smallest model in the range with a length of 11.78 m. It concentrates the characteristics of the range, such as the rigid front cockpit with lounge and sunbathing area, the platform connecting the two skirts with bench seat and lockers, the davit system and the tilt-and-turn door associated with the sliding side bays to create a large open kitchen/lounge/cockpit area. The large refrigerator/freezer, one of Bali's trademarks, will also be found.

Several interior layouts

The Bali Catsmart has an upwind sail area of 101 m2 with a standard self-tacking solent of 30 m2. The weight of the boat is 11.95 tons. The great novelty of this new model is the introduction of a double side helm station in the Euro cockpit with the maneuvers attached. On the other models, the helm station is installed on the flybridge, an element difficult to integrate on small multihulls and absent from the Catsmart. This new configuration allows the boom to be lowered, which will facilitate the stowage of the mainsail.

Several interior layouts are offered to meet the different programs, even the charter program with a 4 cabin/4 bathroom version. Other layouts offer 2 cabins and 2 rooms or 3 cabins and 2 bathrooms.
