Clarisse on the Atlantic, an effective offbeat communication

Clarisse on the Atlantic, does that mean anything to you? It's the project of a young woman with a passion for all kinds of sports, who discovered regattas 10 years ago. Her dream? To take part in the Mini-Transat 2017. Her goal? Through her offbeat videos, to find sponsors to cross the Atlantic on her Mini 6.50, called Pile-Poil.

It all began in October 2015, with the production of the first video of Clarisse, with her sidekick Anne-Laure, in an attempt to rally Michel and Augustin to her cause: to take part in the Mini Transat 2017. Taken, kidnapped, funny and delirious, this video quickly went viral! And that's how many other videos followed the first one: a Parisian rendezvous at Michel and Augustin's home, challenges to get a partnership, meetings with other partners, first solo sailing, etc.

Today, with a crowfunding to find the remaining 20% of the budget, Clarisse is ready to line up at the start of the Mini Transat, alongside the 80 other competitors. She is continuing to train and is preparing her boat for the start, which will take place on the 1st of October er next October.

But today, Clarisse is back in the spotlight again as she won the SEAMASTER Award at the opening night of the Boot Dusseldorf (January 21). This award - which has been in existence for five years now - recognizes the work of an individual who has made a special contribution to water sports. And in 2017, Clarisse Crémer is the winner of the award. Her quirky video clips and multimedia campaign for her solo Atlantic crossing quickly reached several hundred thousand people. She has thus become a positive ambassador for the sailing world.
