On November 6, 2016, 29 skippers set off on their IMOCA 60s to complete a solo, non-stop, non-assisted round-the-world race: the Vendée Globe. This Friday, March 10, the arrival of Sébastien Destremau, aboard TechnoFirst-Ocean, marks the end of this 2016/2017 edition. 18th in the event, he arrived in Les Sables d'Olonne nearly 50 days after the winner of the edition, Armel le Cléac'h. They were 29 to start and 18 to have completed the Everest of the Seas, some for the first time.
