Discover the AC Class helm station
It was during the launch of the AC Class in Bermuda that Franck Cammas made his first video. Each crew member is on board to check his position (each float houses several cockpits dedicated to a manoeuvre) and the skipper is no exception. He is the helmsman, that is, he drives the boat, watches the trajectories and the speed and starts the manoeuvres.
He introduces us to his station with his wheel steering on which we find the buttons for adjusting the incidence of the foils and pedals at the bottom of the cockpit (to fly in stability). It must test the correct operation of the instruments, in correlation with the electronic and hydraulic engineers.
