Special Edition / VesselView, an on-board computer for its engine

Mercury VesselView

A real on-board computer, VesselView displays monitor the engines, but also offer many other features. Integrated into the console, they will be perfect navigation aids.

Cars have accustomed us to offering us on-board computers. These electronic instruments provide us with all the necessary data to take full advantage of its engine (operation, maintenance, monitoring, etc.). Mercury with the VesselView offers the same functionality for their range of outboard and inboard sterndrive engines.

But how can we quickly develop high-performance and practical screens for motorboat navigation when we are not an on-board electronics manufacturer? Mercury has found the answer to this question by partnering with one of the world leaders in embedded electronics: Navico (owner of the Simrad and Lowrance brands...). With this combination, the engine manufacturer is able to launch a complete range of high-performance displays from 4 to 9 inches.

Tactile or with keyboard

These screens are all touchable with or without keyboard. The intuitive multifunction interface gives access to all functions. These screens give access to the exclusive Mercury functions: Active Trim (automatic trim adjustment), towed sport mode (TwoSport), economy mode, troll control, but also all engine controls (display up to 4 engines simultaneously). Engine parameters will be displayed such as fuel level, engine speed, trim position, oil temperature and pressure, battery voltage... By recording navigations, the screens also indicate upcoming revisions and the various defects present.

Depth sounder and chartplotter

VesselView are much more than just a simple motor display, they are true complete handsets. With its integrated GPS, VesselView also provides position with the ability to add a map and serve as a chartplotter. Automatic routing with Navionics charts and easy C-Map routing is also on the agenda. By adding a probe, the VesselView turns into a depth sounder. Depending on the probe (Broadband, Chirp, Structure Scan), the sonar unit displays images with vertical, lateral, and even forward views (Fowardscan).

Mercury VesselView

Integrated Wifi

VesselView displays have a Wifi transceiver to connect to all mobile devices. With the Vessel Mobile option, you get on your smartphone (iOS or Android), the visualization of all engine parameters and with direct data exchange if necessary, with your Mercury dealer, and data recording to better prepare your next trips (fuel level for example).

Mercury VesselView
