Web series / Under The Pole III: But where are the coconut trees?

In this new episode of Under The Pole III, we find Ghislain Bardout, director of the Under The Pole expedition and his 4 teammates for an epic Pacific crossing. Gusts at 70 knots, rough seas, but also heat and swimming on the Alaska-Hawaii road.

For the 2 e as part of their expedition, Ghislain Bardout and Emmanuelle Périé-Bardout, at the head of the Under The Pole campaigns, are to reach Hawaii. While the 2 e made the trip by plane with the children, the first one crossed the Pacific aboard the Why for an 18-day crossing to the archipelago.

A crossing with a crew of 5, swept along by the waves and wind (up to 70 knots!) and punctuated by repairs to empty the anchorage bails which were unwinding in the depths... It was a difficult North Pacific week with very hard nights and storms and winds which reached 72 knots

But everything comes to those who wait, because at the 13th e day, and for the first time since the beginning of the expedition, Ghislain is in shorts! The crew is now in tropical mode and benefits from ideal conditions for a large inventory of the boat. Result: With everything on board, and with 5 people on board, there's enough to last about a year!

After 18 days at sea, the Why finally arrives in Hawaii after a navigation that will have marked everyone: the first time that the boat goes down so far south and passes the Tropic. This is the beginning of Under The Pole's "hot" program, a symbolic step!
