Web series / Sailing maneuver, Hugo details the taking of an anchorage

How do you do it at voile?? In the absence of a motor, Hugo is forced (but also likes it) to sail entirely at) the sail. Here's how he leaves one anchorage and how he finds another.

Before crewing the Clipper Round the World Hugo sailed for 2 years on his "Écume de Mer". After a transatlantic crossing, he sailed the waters of the Caribbean. Very often alone, he encountered technical problems on his engine. After a wintering in Martinique, he never wanted to leave: compression problem.

Not fortunate enough to replace it or have it repaired, Hugo is looking for second hand parts, including a cylinder head to get it back on the road. But the absence of this engine doesn't bother the sailor, who continues to sail and move from island to island under sail.

This is the opportunity for him to do the mooring manoeuvres under sail. A manoeuvre that he explains to us clearly on video. He doesn't hesitate to launch his drone to understand the different phases of the anchorage.

Let yourself be carried along and follow the guide. You always learn to watch others do it.
