These handsets are very appreciated for their ease of use, with a preconfigured and powerful automatic mode, customization remains accessible and easy to set up.

Depth sounder and chart plotters

2D Depth Sounder Sonar function : Classic sonar function allowing the interpretation of the bottom in 2D (via the frequencies 50kHz, 83kHz, 200kHz), of what is there and what it consists of, as well as fish echoes. A powerful automatic mode and possible customizations on 13 color palettes, sensitivity adjustment, color lines, scale..

Downscan High-frequency sounder view (455kHz or 800kHz), working on a wider detection cone allowing to collect more information and details thanks to a quasi-photographic view of the bottom. The DownScan mode of the new Hook Reveal now benefits from FishReveal?, until now only available on the touch ranges. This unique, flagship technology allows you to add the detection layer of the classic 2D sonar view overlay to the high-frequency DownScan view, making target identification incredibly easy, even for the most inexperienced.

SideScan Sonar view : Side view to "scan the bottom" and return a photographic image of the bottom. As for the DownScan view, this function works on high frequencies (455kHz and 800kHz). The customizations of this mode are the same as for the DownScan, i.e. contrasts, color palettes, scale..

Cartography Hook Reveal: Hook Reveals are able to read and display C-MAP and Navionics charts and offer the customizations included in these charts. The new maps are customizable in terms of both color and level of detail, enhancing the user experience and considerably improving the comfort of navigation and fishing.

Note that some maps offer more possibilities than others, such as colourful seabeds or the customization of depth palettes.

Hook Reveal takes it one step further with additional display features and now allows you to use Genesis Live real-time mapping. You can then create your own mapping using sonar data and enrich your existing C-MAP mapping!

Hook Reveal transom sensors

HDI 83/200 This probe works on the 83kHz or 200kHz frequencies for the traditional 2D sounder view and on the 455kHz and 800kHz frequencies for the Downscan view, but it does not display the SideScan.

HDI 50/200 This probe works on the 50kHz or 200kHz frequencies for the traditional 2D sonar view, offering a more efficient use at sea, the 50kHz frequency allowing to reach greater depths. It also works on the 455kHz and 800kHz frequencies for the Downscan view, however it does not allow to display the SideScan.

TripleShot : It's the 3 in 1 probe of the Hook Reveal handsets! This probe works on the 200kHz / CHIRP frequency for the traditional 2D sounder view and on the 455kHz and 800kHz frequencies for the Downscan view. Contrary to the two other models, it allows to acquire the SideScan view.

Hook Reveal's plusses

These GPS sonar handsets remain disconcertingly easy to use and are very quick to learn. Intuitive menus allow quick and easy access to settings. They also have additional features such as :

  • Creation of personalized pages
  • Management and modification of " Overlay " data (display of bottom, temperature, speed, heading...)
  • Quick access to waypoints, routes and tracks

Lightweight and with a low consumption, they are perfectly adapted for Kayak or Float Tube use in sea or fresh water.
