A wide variety of thrusters
Bow thrusters are no longer reserved for a few luxury boats. The Italian equipment manufacturer Quick offers boaters a wide range of thrusters to meet all needs, on boats from 6 to 50 meters long, thanks to thrust powers of up to 1,400 Kgf.
A range of retractable thrusters, specifically designed for sailboats, will enhance gliding, while tunnel thrusters are ideal for powerboats.
To adapt to the installation on board, Quick has electric thrusters with different voltages, either in direct current of 12V, 24V or 48V, but also in three-phase for large units. A range of hydraulic thrusters is also available for intensive use.
Brushless technology for stress-free use
Quick also has a range of thrusters called "Brushless", called BT DCAC or QSY. These carbonless motors, with a power of 3 kW to 15 kW, have many advantages, especially for continuous use with repeated power calls, without the risk of overheating, which will prevent the thruster from stopping during the maneuver in case of overheating.
Requiring a lower amperage, the "Brushless" motor also saves the battery park, extending the life of the installation.
The absence of wearing parts simplifies and reduces maintenance costs.
Accessories for ease of use
The variable power thrusters allow boaters to perform precise maneuvers. With the joystick control panel, the user will control the boat from the cockpit, but also, if desired, from a distance using a wireless radio remote control. The variable speed thrusters are adapted to interface with many brands of joystick controllers, with the option of dynamic positioning to keep a shaft line or base and thruster boat in position without the need to drop anchor.
Quick thrusters are distributed in France by VDM-REYA and SEIMI.
